Recounting an experience

Recounting an experience means remembering/recalling an experience that was happening at some point in the past. In other words, it is a series of events that is described in the “past continuous tense”. Sharing data about a previous occasion creates "decontextualized language". Decontextualized language is something that has happened in the past or will happen in the future. When they are playing “pretend games” with other friends. For example, My teddy bear is cold. We went to the park.
